NK is a 500 square meter factory floor, dedicated to Sound Art practices run by Farahaz Hatam and Julian Percy. In a very short period of time, NK has become and inevitable meeting point for to berliners and international artists working with sound and computers and a large number of workshops, sonic events and other activities have taken place, alongside a programme of artists in residence.
S.low is proud to contribute to NK sinergies and has also secured a residency space from April 2010 in preparation for the S.LOW project in the summer.
NK is situated at Elsenstr 52 in the Neukolln area in Berlin. NK houses 7 Resident artist studios for International sound and media artists working in new technologies and unconventional forms of musical expression.
NK, hosts monthly Experimental Concerts, Exhibitions of Sound Installations, Software and Hardware hacking Workshops, Artist Presentations and Talks, a weekly SuperCollider Meeting and by weekly PD meeting (Pure Data).
